Transplant patients are seen in consultation free of charge. There are no extra charges for repeat consultations, follow up visits, anesthesia, or the OR facility. If one takes into consideration the extraordinary time, precision, and attention to detail that we provide, there simply is no better value. They start as low as $4000 per session. A $2000 deposit is requested four weeks prior to the procedure date, and the balance of payment is due on the day of the procedure. The Hair Loss Center accepts all credit cards and financing can be arranged.

For non-transplant patients with hair loss, a formal medical evaluation with diagnostic testing is usually required. An initial consultation with Dr. Cohen is performed and necessary tests are ordered at that time. Patients then return for the testing procedures, and when the results have been collected, Dr. Cohen conducts a second consultation at which time the diagnosis and treatment are discussed. Although hair loss evaluation for the non-transplant patient is a true medical evaluation, most insurance companies consider hair loss to be “cosmetic” and will not reimburse for the medical services provided. All fees for medical hair loss evaluations are due at the time each service is performed.
